Dangerous path!
The child pornography defense has been mentioned yet again — “We’re doing it to save the children”.
Child pornography is being used as an excuse!
We seem hypocritical re the Church of Rome’s behaviour these past published 50 years ! & no Governement wishes to go there !
Now governments started, like OZ telling us this was so.

This is a smokescreen.
These moral bigots have persuaded us that a system that criminalizes a type of expression is the right thing to do because it deals with a particularly perverse and unwholesome form of expression. We buy it because it sounds reasonable — who wants to defend perverts? A minority of us, those who understand computer systems, recognize a very serious danger lurking behind all this. Systems in general, and computers in particular, work with abstractions, they’re just things. Those things can be anything we care to define them as. So a system set up to surpress expression and to enforce laws to do so is not set up to surpress kiddie porn as such, its set up to supress an abstract expression which in its physical realization *at this time* happens to be kiddie porn. Flip the switch, change a few definitions around, and the same mechanism will work just fine against the perverts on CiF and their subversive postings.
This might sound a bit weird, almost paranoid, but this kind of abstraction is the stock in trade of the systems engineer and computer programmer. The only hope we have is that many computer programmers tend to foul things up by confusing the specific with the general so maybe the system won’t be as flexible as it could be…….

The New offence, if one pays for sex, with those under duress!
What an arse, of a piece of legislation ! Th ereal criminals are those that bring across and lie to these young kids ! adults etc

The closing of the Metropolitan Police unit( operation Maxim) that investigates the owners etc of brothels who exploit foreign young workers – better described as a form of slave labour, needs more attention by media.
The question should be why has the authorities chosen, to cut back, so that the 2300 plus brothels just in London can flourish!
Who is the landlord of such premises!!
as they are too pimps in this sleazy and murky world
& should be prosecuted
& have rent past!!

& a fine too ! as the landlords know !
they have dubious tenants ,by the higher rent they demand.
But it would interesting what brothels are owned by offshore companies so asking the question who truly is ruining what for whom !
Drugs Sex and further illegal activities are encouraged when you have an environment that is bullying and treating people as slaves for quick profit!
How many NHS Sexual clinics centres are worked off their arses thanks to the encouragement of more disease by these unregulated brothels and to think Scotland Yard vice can handle it after 40 questionable years!!

Question whether keeping the present Government Labour or supposedly voting for Change & Conservatrives is just a scam – & that the last 30 years of excessive greed, many lies, much incompetence, & the same policies- with no affective opposition- whether it was the first 18 or the last 12 !! It is a disgrace.
So serious thought must be about, giving another sort of Government a least a chance, a trial, a GO!

Whilst this word to describe such a solution, this word Hung Parliament is crude, stupid, ignorant & another lie !
We have had one party dictatorial governemnt, these past 31 years & it has cost much! with tremendous economic decline !
Look at teh currencey , yes the currencey swiss fran against british sterling pound, which has gradually slid into oblivion!
The Public sector has ballooned ! whilst the private sector has gone down the monopoly or pretence competitive route,
just look at Tesco & the supermarkets to get a handle, one of many examples , look at the pharmacies !
Now we hear ridiculous talk from the Tory Party, about making State education , benefiting from Private Sector Involvemnt& Mnagement – a scam & disatser waiting to happen- instead of collaboration/ collective thinking & commonnsense – we want, more pretence , to make a few companies rich at the public’s expense! whilst those that would implement such madness , send their children to rip off private schools! ( middle class always beleive if it is expensive, it is good & if it is elite, it is even better!! sad!
